Fernando Montes-Rodriguez is Program Director at Probation Camp David Gonzales, where he oversees the Enhanced Educational Services coordinated by C/HOPE (formerly New Roads for New Visions Program). He previously worked with community organizations to improve the social and economic conditions of marginalized communities. Fernando is the former membership director of Community Coalition, a community based organization in South Los Angeles. He also worked with hundreds of residents to implement nationally recognized crime prevention strategies, including the closure of businesses that fostered crime in South Los Angeles. Fernando earned his MBA in nonprofit management from the American Jewish University and holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
