Danielle M. Dupuy, MPH is a PhD student at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Department of Community Health Sciences. Her research is focused on the measurable effect of prison structure and policies on community health and well-being. She has over 8 years’ experience working in the field of health inequities and system quality improvement both from a research and intervention perspective. Danielle is Principal Partner at Marie + Fontenot, an LLC devoted to assisting non-profits, corporations, government agencies and individuals maximize the impact of their community development, public health and social welfare initiatives. In this capacity, relevant projects she has worked on have centered around violence prevention and the ‘school-to-prison’ pipeline. She received both her B.S. and MPH from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
