  • About Us

The Justice Policy Network (JPN) is a community for emerging and established leaders in criminal justice to advance the creation and implementation of transformative justice policies and practices. • Why Now

In the past thirty years, we’ve seen unprecedented growth in our nation’s incarcerated population. Although violent crime has decreased, the U.S. now has the highest incarceration rate in the world with over 2.3 million inmates in federal, state, and local prisons. The social, economic and political costs of wasted human potential, families torn apart, and entire generations disenfranchised by the justice system are incalculable.

  • Who We Are

The Justice Policy Network was created by two organizations with extensive experience in public policy and legislation. Revolve Impact a daring social impact agency that offers policy, marketing and strategic media expertise to an influential clientele and The Raben Group brings together a diverse collection of professionals with deep roots in law and progressive public policy.

The 2019 Justice Policy Network Fellowship application is now open.  We are looking for our next cohort of Southern California leaders interested in deepening their commitment to transforming the criminal justice and broadening their network of leaders in the field. We are now accepting applications for prospective fellows from outside Los Angeles County, and we are tailoring our 2019 curriculum to make sure leaders from the greater Southern California region can participate.

Prospective fellows must submit an application package that includes the application form, written statement summarizing your qualifications and experience, a resume/curriculum vitae, a writing sample not to exceed 3 pages, and 3 professional or academic references.

The selection process is very competitive. Applications are reviewed by a selection committee composed of Justice Policy Network staff, advisors and experts in the field. Only top candidates receive an invitation for an interview. Fellows will be chosen, based on the quality of their application and interview scores.

Applications for the 2019 Justice Policy Network Fellowship are due March 4, 2019.
